Buddy Sign-ups, Fun Friday & Raffles
Hello Sharks Families and Friends,
We hope our wonderful Sharks Moms enjoyed their Mother's Day last weekend. Please see the announcements and reminders below.
Buddy Program! Signs-ups due Wednesday, May 18
The Buddy Program offers your swimmer(s) the chance to be a Big or Little (and sometimes both) Buddy, and is intended to foster team spirit and connection among our swimmers. Being a Buddy involves making an effort to support and encourage each other by wishing your Buddy good luck before the meets as well as cheering them on during their races. We’d like to remind you that the intention of the Buddy Program is to encourage, mentor, guide and support our swimmers. Weekly gifts are not necessary or required. Please contact our Sharks Coaches with any questions or concerns.
You may sign-up your swimmer using the google doc and we will have a sign-up sheet posted at the pool as well.
Buddy Lists will be posted with a Meet & Greet Activity for all Buddies on Friday, May 20.
We are now selling 6 tickets at a reduced price of $100 or $20 for individual tickets. Raffle tickets will be on sale at movie night and on deck this week and next. Raffle winners will be announced at time trials on May 21st - so time is ticking!
Fun Friday - May 13
Many thanks to the Beaucage/Waagen & Willey families for their help with last week's Fun Friday! Fun Fridays are a great way for our swimmers to celebrate their week of workouts and fun in the water. Additionally, it is a wonderful opportunity for parents to mingle and get to know their fellow Sharks parents better. We hope to see you on deck later today!
