HOME Dual Meet vs Almaden (May 27). Tent city set up on May 26!
Hello Sharks Families,
Our first dual meet of 2023 is HOME against the Almaden Dolphins. They are a large team and we need to be considerate of the space we utilize. As such, we will be setting up the night before. On Friday, May 26, you will be allowed to bring your pop-ups from 8:00 to 8:15 pm, only. NO SWIMMERS, please, as we would like for them to be home resting. Additionally, we ask that each pop-up is shared between at least 3 families as space will be tight.
The timeline for this meet against the Almaden Dolphins is as follows (& can be found at: 2023 Sharks Calendar):
Gates open: 6:45 AM
Registration: 7:00 AM - 7:45 AM
Warm-ups: 7:15 AM - 7:30 AM 12 & Under
Warm-ups: 7:30 - 7:45 AM 13 & Up
Meet begins: 8:30 AM
Please ensure you are not blocking driveways and congratulations to the Basanese Family for winning Spot in the Lot! Please note that warm-ups will begin at 7:15 AM and your swimmer(s) need(s) to be registered no later than 7:45 AM as well. Please note, whatever your swimmer registers for by 7:45 AM will be the events they are swimming - we will not allow for deck seed changes. Thank you.Swimsuits and caps. When competing, your swimmer should only be wearing Sharks or generic suits and caps. No suits or caps with any other club or high school team or name lettering. And please, no rash guards.
Swimmer's Ribbons. If your swimmer does not want to receive Participation or Personal Best Ribbon(s) (Shark Kash will still be awarded, just without the ribbon), please provide the requested information at: Ribbon Recognition Withdraw Form. Please note, Personal Best Ribbons and Shark Kash will not be awarded following this dual meet this weekend.
Parent relays. Remember to bring your suit. We'd love to see both a men's and women's parent relay at this meet.
Volunteering. Please be patient as there are many needed volunteer changes this week. The volunteer list will be sent shortly.
