For your reference and review, we have attached all of the important information needed for the Champs Meet at Independence High School (617 N Jackson Avenue, 95133) on July 8.

Please read through everything carefully as it contains important tips, timeline information and map of the Champs Meet that are crucial for a successful day for you and your swimmer(s). If you have any questions, please let Katie or Valerie know.

Warm-Ups

ALL Swimmers MUST arrive by 7:30 AM.

This meet is pre-seeded, no formal registration check-in is required.

Please ensure your swimmer checks in with their coach by 8:00 AM as we want to ensure we have the most up-to-date attendance (no empty lanes!).

Team warm-ups will begin at 8:15 AM and we are warming up in lanes 10 to 15. Warm-ups are important as many of our swimmers are not use to gutters (esp. for backstroke).

Our warm-up schedule is as follows:
8:15 am - 8:25 am: 10 & Unders (lanes 10 -13)

8:15 am - 8:30 am: 11 & 12 (lanes 14 & 15)

8:25 am - 8:45 am: 13 & Up (lanes 10 - 13)

Champs Donations

Please bring all donations to our Tent City at Champs tomorrow morning.  Thank you for your support! 2023 Champs Snacks Donations

Champs Volunteers

If you do not fulfill your Champs volunteer shift(s), your $300 volunteer deposit will be immediately cashed. Please see today's email and the attached file for your volunteer assignments.

Almaden Dolphins have requested that all of our volunteers check-in 15 minutes prior to the start of your volunteer shift.

WE’D LIKE EVERYONE TO STAY AND CHEER ON OUR TEAM AND BE PRESENT FOR THE TROPHY PRESENTATION FOLLOWING THE FINAL FREESTYLE RELAY.
