Please refer to the requested practice gear at: 2024 Practice Equipment. The coaches kindly ask that all swimmers have their requested practice equipment no later than the week of April 29 . Need a gear bag to place your swimmers items in? Please contact Valerie Waagen or Katie Ciciarelli to purchase a customized Sharks gear bag for $20 (cash only).

Lost & Found

Swimmers are asked to keep the pool deck clean and tidy by picking up ALL of their equipment after each practice. It is not our coaches' responsibility to keep the pool deck clean. As such, swimmers will be charged $1.00 for each piece of equipment left behind at each practice. In order for a swimmer to receive their equipment back, swimmer's will need to pay their coach $1.00 for each piece of equipment. For example, a pair of fins is $2.00. No exceptions.

Volunteers

As all returning Shadow Brook parents know (and new parents will find out), it takes a tremendous number of volunteers to make our swim team successful. For over 50 years, the Shadow Brook Sharks have thrived because of the generous volunteer parents we have. To ensure we have adequate coverage for every meet, each family is expected to volunteer for at least 5 shifts during the season and shift(s) at CHAMPS, which will be determined later in the season. It is through these activities that we get a chance to meet our fellow parents, encourage our swimmers and build a strong Sharks family. More information will be coming shortly with volunteer sign ups beginning Wednesday, May 1.

Fun Fridays!

Thank you to the Matsuki-Ngo and Sun-Lee Families for hosting our first Fun Friday of the season! Fun Fridays are a great way for our swimmers to celebrate their week of workouts and fun in the water. Additionally, it is a wonderful opportunity for parents to mingle and get to know their fellow Sharks parents better. Using the link provided, please sign-up to host a future Fun Friday event at: 2024 Sharks Fun Fridays!. While school is still in session, hosting a Fun Friday includes providing popsicles/otter pops for the swimmers and adult beverages & a light snack for the parents (for example, chips/salsa & margaritas).
