Where is the best place to watch my swimmer at Champs?

Do you want to stand in the best place to watch the swimmers at every meet?

Would you like a free pin with your name on it?

Do you like it when people bring you free water in the summer sun?

Can you watch something and hold a pencil at the same time?

If you answered YES to the above, then you seem more than qualified to join the Stroke & Turn Judging Team! We are still looking for two or three people to join our ranks.

Questions? We have answers!

But I do not know anything about swimming, frankly my cat likes water more than me! No problem - a couple of YouTube videos and you will know more than you ever wanted to about swim rules. Also, we shadow you with one of the current S&T Judges until you are completely comfortable (honestly it is very easy and simple to learn). AND! There's a training this weekend to help guide you as well (Sunday, April 28 from 12:00 noon to 1:30 PM at Dolphin's pool).

Can I choose the color and style of my free pin? Yes, as long as your answer is white with a your first and last named spelled correctly.

Are the S&T Judges important to the Swim meets? No Judges = No Swim Meet. By stepping up, you are making a difference and helping the swimmers/coaches (go you!)

Does this satisfy my Sharks volunteer requirement? Yes! If your swimmer is in attendance for any dual meet and/or Champs, you will be on the pool deck helping with Stroke & Turn and no other volunteer assignments will be given to your family that same day.

You didn't answer the question - Where is the best place to watch my swimmer at Champs? On the pool deck - right where the stroke & turn judges stand....... For more information or to join the stroke & turn team, please contact Jada Tompkins at [email protected].

Go Sharks!
