Where is the best place to watch my swimmer at Champs?
Sharks!
Do you want to stand in the best place to watch the swimmers at every meet?
Do you like it when people bring you free water in the summer sun?
Can you watch something and hold a pencil at the same time?
If you answered YES to the above then you seem more than qualified to join the Stroke & Turn Judging Team for Sharks! We are looking for two or three people to join our ranks. Joining and actively participating in the Stroke & Turn Judging Team satifies your family's volunteer requirements for all of our meets (all dual meets and Champs).
Questions? We have answers!
But I do not know anything about swimming, frankly my cat likes water more than me! No problem - a couple of YouTube videos and you will know more than you ever wanted to about swim rules. Also we shadow you with one of the current S&T Judges until you are completely comfortable (honestly it is very easy and simple to learn).
Can I choose the color and style of my shirt? Yes, As long as your answer is white with a S&T Judges pin.
Are the S&T Judges important to the Swim meets? No Judges = No Swim Meet. So by stepping up you are making a difference and helping the swimmers/coaches (go you!)
You didn't answer the question - Where is the best place to watch my swimmer at Champs? On the pool deck - right when the stroke and turn judges stand....... For more information or to join the stroke & turn team, please contact [email protected]. Trainings begin May 13 at Shadow Brook's pool.
Go Sharks!
