Hello Sharks Families,

Our next dual meet of 2025 is AWAY at Crossgates Gators (1297 Peralta Drive, 95120).

This weekend (June 7), we are AWAY at the Crossgates Gators. Reminder! There will be a High Point Award as well as Improved Times Award. So please ensure your swimmer doesn't miss their race(s) or simply decides not to swim a certain stroke as an empty lane will only hurt our overall team's improved time percentage.

• All swimmers need to arrive by 7:15 AM with warm-ups beginning at 7:45 AM & team meeting at 8:20 AM.
• If your swimmer does not check in/register by 7:45 AM, they will be scratched from the meet (& cannot swim!)
• Please be sure to check in with your Coach prior to leaving the meet!
• When competing, your swimmer should only be wearing Sharks or solid-colored suits and caps. No suits or caps with any other club or high school team or name lettering. And please, no rash guards.
• Ice Cream Social at Shadow Brook after our meet with Crossgates! We need a host! This is a long-time tradition that our swimmer's enjoy. Please consider partnering up with several families.

The timeline for our meet against the Crossgates Gators is as follows:

Gates open: 7:00 AM

Registration: 7:00 AM - 7:45 AM

Snack Shack Opens: No later than 7:30 AM

Warm-ups: 7:45 AM - 8:00 AM, 11 & Under

Warm-ups: 8:00 - 8:15 AM, 12 & Up

Team Meeting: 8:20 AM

Meet begins: 8:30 AM

Ice Cream Social: Back at the pool after the boys' 15-18 freestyle relay (conclusion of the meet)

Parking can be difficult. Please ensure you are not blocking driveways and congratulations again to the Patel Family for winning Spot in the Lot (you'll have one car spot near their cabana off Gators' Peralta Drive entrance)

Warm-ups will begin at 7:45 AM and your swimmer(s) need(s) to be registered no later than 7:45 AM. Please note, whatever your swimmer registers for by 7:45 AM will be the events they are swimming - they will not allow for deck seed changes. And if your swimmer is not registered/checked in by 7:45 AM, they cannot swim on June 7. Thank you.

Swimsuits and caps. When competing, your swimmer should only be wearing Sharks or solid-colored suits and caps. No suits or caps with any other club or high school team or name lettering. And please, no rash guards.

Parent relays. Remember to bring your suit. We'd love to see both a men's and women's parent relay at this meet. Sharks needs to reclaim the coveted towel!

50/50 Raffle. Gators are hosting a fun fundraiser for their team ($5/ticket, cash only). Last week's winner walked away with $120!
