Sharks!

June 7 Results (AWAY at Crossgates)

We're excited to announce we won the High Point Award against the Crossgates Gators, but we fell short of the Improved Time % Win on June 7. Results are attached. Apologies for the delay as there were a few corrections needed before we posted them to the team (many thanks, Jeff, for being so diligent!). Some of the freestyle relay names are not correct in the attached file, but the relay ribbons are correct (BIG thanks to Hui & Team for your persistence!)

Slideshow! We NEED your photos!

Kaleb So and Caleb Chao (both graduating seniors!) have graciously agreed to manage our end of season slideshow that will be presented on Awards Night (July 13).  They have created a special Gmail account, where people can either share or email photos that they have taken at meets (including Time Trials), practice, or any other events. When you submit your photos, please include the following:

From Our Sharks Coaches:

  • Order of events: Medley Relay, Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Freestyle, Free Relay
  • Relays will be happening at the beginning and end of the meet. Relay swimmers will be announced during the meet and may change.
  • DO NOT leave the meet early unless it is approved by a coach, we need swimmers to stay in case they will swim in a relay and to cheer each other on
  • Swimmers will swim a maximum of three events (decided by coaches), and are only allowed to scratch an event if approved by a coach
  • Swimmers should write down their events and line up at the clerk at the course before their event begins
  • Swimmers should be welcoming to the other team and be respectful by staying in the water until all swimmers touch the wall (25 yd) or the next heat dives over (50 yd)
  • And remember to swim fast!!! GO SHARKS!!

Go Sharks!
