Pinehurst is hosting Champs on July 12! Please see all of the important information below (& the attached files!) This was reviewed at our Champs Parent Meeting last night at our Pasta WNS. Please keep the information handy as it's a great guide for Saturday! Go Sharks!

Pre-ordered Champs t-shirts are available for pick up for: Chibber, He, Maisen, O. Stava & Tompkins. Please make arrangements with Katie for payment and pick-up.

From Our Sharks Coaches

• Swimmers! Please arrive no later than 7:00 AM on July 12 & find your coach ASAP to confirm your attendance (no empty lanes, please!)
• If your swimmer is NOT checked in by 7:30 AM, they will be scratched from the entire meet
• Older Swimmers! Please help with marking the arms of our younger swimmers with their names
• Swimmers! No major activities tonight & Friday - please stay indoors and rest! A great option is to join your fellow Sharks at the 1:40 PM Superman Movie at Oakridge on July 11!
• Everyone! Let's have fun & GO Sharks!

• Independence High School's parking lot (617 N. Jackson, 95133) will open at 6:30 AM
• Tent City will open at 6:45 AM
• Please take note of where our team will set-up in Tent City
• Please take note of where our team will gather for the parade (8:40 AM, sharp!)

Meet Timeline

• Sharks Warm-ups will begin 7:15 AM. No pre-entry on the pool deck, please.
• Reminder! Only coaches, swimmers, officials, and meet personnel on deck. Large grandstands are available for spectators and cheering.
• Please no pop-ups in the stands seating area; ONE team pop-up is allowed on the top row if desired. Please make arrangements by contacting [email protected].

7:30 AM 11 & Up warm-ups

8:00 AM  Stroke & Turn Officials Meeting

8:40 AM  Gather for Parade

8:55 AM  Parade

9:15 AM  Senior Swims and National Anthem (Senior parents only: You may have deck access beginning at 8:45 AM until medley relays begin. Sharks will be in lane 0 - closest to the Starter's Tent/Coaches Tables.)

9:30 AM  Meet Starts

Vendors & Food Trucks

• Food trucks (see attached) will be on-site, including Kona Island Coffee & Dippin' Dots
• FINIS Inc. will be present with goggles, suits, and various other swim products available
• GIC Graphic Wear will be offering Champs logo based apparel made to order
• Zoom Photography is ready to take your action shots! You MUST book your reservation prior to July 12
