Sharks!

Creekside is hosting Champs on June 27! Please see all the important information below (& the attached files!) This was reviewed at our Champs Parent Meeting last night at our Annual Pasta Feed. Please keep the information handy as it's a great guide for Saturday! Go Sharks!

Pre-ordered Champs T-shirts are available for pick up for: DeGrassi, He and Liu. Please make arrangements with Katie for payment and pick up.

From Our Sharks Coaches

• Swimmers! Please arrive no later than 7:30 AM on June 27 & find your coach ASAP to confirm your attendance (no empty lanes, please!) and grab your gift from Creekside.
• If your swimmer is NOT checked in by 7:45 AM, they will be scratched from the entire meet
• Older Swimmers! Please help with marking the arms of our younger swimmers with their names
• Swimmers! No major activities on Friday - please stay indoors and rest! A great option is to join your fellow Sharks at the movies (Supergirl at 3:15 PM or Toy Story 5 at 5:00 PM) at Oakridge Mall on June 26!
• Everyone! Let's have fun & GO Sharks!

• Independence High School's parking lot (617 N. Jackson, 95133) will open at 7:00 AM
• Tent City will open at 7:00 AM
• Please take note of where our team will set up in Tent City
• Please take note of where our team will gather for the parade (8:45 AM, sharp!)

Meet Timeline

• Sharks Warm-ups will begin at 8:15 AM. No pre-entry on the pool deck, please.
• Reminder! Only coaches, swimmers, officials, and meet personnel on deck. Large grandstands are available for spectators and cheering.
• Please do not have pop-ups in the stands seating area; ONE team pop-up is allowed on the top row if desired. Please volunteer today at: Champs Tent City Donations

8:15 AM  8 & Under medley relays & 9/10 warm-ups

8:30 AM  11 & Up warm-ups

8:30 AM  Stroke & Turn Officials Meeting

8:45 AM  Gather for the Parade. Swimmers who are in the 7-8 Medley relays need to go to the parade with caps and goggles ready!

8:55 AM  Parade

9:15 AM  Senior Swims and National Anthem (Senior parents only: You may have deck access beginning at 8:45 AM until medley relays begin. Sharks will be in lane 5)

9:30 AM  Meet Starts

5:00 PM  Estimated Meet End Time

Volunteers

Volunteers should have received a welcome email from Leads with maps. Be sure to check-in for your shift!

Vendors & Food Trucks

• Food trucks (see attached) will be on-site, including Kona Island Coffee
• Champs logo apparel will be available for sale

Heat & Lane Assignments

• Be sure to pick up your Champs Program to see your swimmer's heat and lane assignments. A VERY limited amount of Champs Programs will be available for sale on June 27
• Heat and lane assignments will be posted near the women's locker room
• Meet Mobile App: Results will be posted live, and Fastlane has been requested to publish heat and lane assignments.
• SwimTopia App: Heat and lane assignments will be posted. Results will not be live but will be imported periodically as events are scored.
